Dave is the Principal and Founder of Lighthouse Title and the Stamm Law Firm, LLC. Dave is also a Maryland and District of Columbia licensed attorney with extensive experience in all aspects of the real estate process. He has worked in the legislature (where laws are made), the judiciary (where laws are interpreted), and in a number of private practice settings (where the rubber meets the road). Dave started his career spending time in both the small and large law firm settings where he represented a wide variety of real estate stakeholders from purchasers and sellers of property to landlords, tenants, banks, credit unions, builders, developers, and real estate brokers. In 2013, Dave transitioned into in-house corporate counsel and title company executive roles where he was grateful to have been able to learn from, advise, and work alongside some of the best and brightest real estate minds in the industry in virtually all aspects of the real estate process. In 2020, after the birth of a child and during a global pandemic, Dave was proud to have made the difficult decision to step down from an executive role at an industry-leading title company to start his own companies, Lighthouse Title and the Stamm Law Firm, LLC. Dave launched the first company offices in the area where he grew up, St. Mary’s County, Maryland.
Dave lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Lilia, and their daughter Natalie. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending as much time outside as possible with his family and friends. He loves all sports, but he is an enthusiastic supporter of the Washington Capitals and his country and city soccer teams: the United States National Team and DC United.
